Stephanie Türck's aesthetic reflects a profound beauty using traces of authentic craftsmanship by orchestrating the dialogue of nature and time. A large part of her works are handled with flames of fire of high temperatures, the so called Raku wood firing, followed by the next procedure, when her works are being smoked with natural materials to form a unique and non-reproducible final result. Fire, wood, smoke, time and temperature as co-creators of an individual surface. Contrasting qualities of parameters such as strong and fragile, raw and elaborate, opalescent and opaque give Stephanie Türck's sculptural ceramics their aura of sensuality and amazing expressiveness. Many works of Stephanie Türck are part of several private collections, two works of her series of Raku sheep portraits (2024) have been acquired by the Würth Collection.
